February 1, 2010Jenny Morgan and Alice Hohl were invited to Akron last weekend to address the Jack Gallon Board Development Institute at the Ohio Parks and Recreation Conference. This group consisted of new board members and staff from municipal and county parks around Ohio.
Jenny and Alice gave a 75-minute presentation about the Leave No Child INSIDE movement in Ohio, and specifically its powerful impact on parks.
They gave suggestions to the parks officials about integrating the Leave No Child INSIDE message into their park communications and activities, as well as advocating for more natural play spaces.
