February 2, 2010The LNCI Communication Committee met January 19, 2010 at the Westerville Library.
Attending were: Alice Hohl, Christa Hein (Stratford Ecological Center), Sue Hagan (Preservation Parks of Delaware County) and Linda Pettit (Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District)
The finished presentation booth kit was presented. The trifold display created and donated by Sue Hagan is beautiful and full of photos and facts. In addition, we have two art frames donated by Christa Hein, along with items children can use to create art in them. (Sticks, gravel, bones, wool, pinecones.) Children can make a design, have their parent take a photo, and return the items. A great activity!
We will also have a clipboard to collect email addresses when the booth is set up.
The Committee also took stock of their accomplishment to present to the larger group later in the day. (See notes from that meeting, below.)
The group has accomplished a lot! The remaining big piece is a grid of Audience, Message, Tactics that we need to work on.
