January 23, 2009Please check out the Website for the Baby the Planet Expo, which is a part of the Columbus Parent Expo at the Zoo. (You know, the day parents get to come to the zoo for free and there are a zillion people there, browsing the booths and picking up information?)
Baby the Planet Expo focuses on GREEN items and activities for parents.
The Leave No Child Inside Central Ohio Collaborative has been selected by the expo as the nonprofit beneficiary! So we will be receiving a bit of funding as a result of this project, especially if the Expo sells a lot of booths.
Because of our status with the Expo, we are able to offer our members this special deal:
Normally a nonprofit booth at this two-day PACKED event will cost $200.
BUT….
For the first 10 non-profits that email the Expo coordinator, Jennifer,with the space they want reserved and their check following soon after (check and contract must be received within a week of the email. If we do not receive the check, we must release the space) the Expo will offer their space for $100! They will still offer the $200 cost until the end of February.
Just a note – Jennifer is traveling over the next week, and might not be able to check her email. Just because you don’t get a reply back doesn’t mean you didn’t make the first 10 list.
Please help support an event that is supporting us! And promote your organization to the PERFECT audience! Parents who are taking their kids to the zoo!
