Using Your Outdoor Classroom
9AM-12PM
Experience innovative techniques for using outdoor classrooms as an integral part of children’s daily learning.
The Arts & Nature
1PM-4PM
Discover engaging art experiences inspired by nature that help children make deeper connections with the world around them. Participants in this workshop will also experience the Look-Move-Build-Sketch planning tool that encourages multi-faceted arts exploration.
Indianola Children’s Center [ICC], which is housed within the Indianola Presbyterian Church, is located within the residential area of The Ohio State University. These 2 workshops are the only ones currently offered in the the Midwest. The workshops are Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) approved.
