Apply Now for Educational Grants: Free Trees and/or Funding for Outdoor Classrooms

Plan a spring or fall youth educational tree planting event with a minimum of 100 bare-root trees. Teach children and youth the value of trees and apply for free trees http://www.nwf.org/trees-for-wildlife.aspx from National Wildlife Federation at least 3 months before your event.

Apply for Wild School Site Grants http://wildlife.ohiodnr.gov/portals/wildlife/pdfs/education/dnr%209009,%20wss%20grant.pdf from January 1 to May 31. Grants are available from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for schools or teaching organizations to start a wildlife habitat or outdoor classroom.
