May 24, 2013Summer Solstice Celebration at Cedar Bog Nature Preserve, 980 Woodburn Rd., Urbana, OH 43078 June 22, 2013, 5 PM – 7 PM
Join the staff and volunteers of Cedar Bog Nature Preserve for a celebration of the Summer Solstice. Bring the family and visit eight stations where you can play games, make animal tracks, learn about native plants and animals, see and feel animal pelts, make a craft, and eat ice cream. You can listen to a storyteller, get your face painted, or walk the trail to see some of Ohio’s native orchids. Most activities are under cover so this party happens rain or shine!
Admission fees are $6 for adults, $5 for students, children under age 5 are free, OHS and CBA discount applies.
Cedar Bog Nature Preserve is 0.7 mile west off US Highway 68 and 4 miles south of Urbana. About a 1 hour drive from Columbus and southern Dayton and a 30-45 minute drive from Piqua, Sidney, and Troy.
