April 23, 2012Natural Play Area Adventures Program:
Join us for a great outdoor experience and celebrate Earth Day! On Sunday at 2pm we will meet at our Natural Play Area inside Sharon Woods Metro Park. Help us pull invasive plants and pick up litter. Items can then be exchanged at our “nature store” for building supplies to build a house of your choice – one for bugs, fairies or elves! Houses will be inspected and prizes awarded. Come prepared to get as dirty as you wish! All participants (grownups included) should wear long pants and old shoes. Gloves are also a good idea as we have only a few pairs to provide.
Directions: The Natural Play Area is inside of Sharon Woods Metro Park at 6911 Cleveland Avenue, Westerville, 43081. One stoplight north of I-270 on Cleveland Avenue (across from St. Ann’s Hospital.) Once inside the park, turn right into the Apple Ridge Area and park in the last parking lot. Look for the blue sign and green bulletin board by the split rail fence.
