October 2, 2009I’d like to extend an personal invitation to LNCI supporters to attend Local Matters School Garden Tour this coming Sunday, October 4th. Here are the details for this invitation only event:
Event: School Garden Tour-Food is Elementary Curriculum (FIE) Introduction
Location: Early Childhood Learning Center at 4141 Rudy Rd, Columbus, OH 43214-2943
Date and Time: Sunday, October 4th, 2009 2pm-4pm
Details: Bring your family and take a casual stroll through the garden and Outdoor Learning Environment that Local Matters developed in partnership with Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. You can also speak with our Food Education team who will be available to discuss our FIE program and how we can bring it to your school! Light refreshments and music will also be part of this beautiful afternoon! Please come, take a tour and learn more about how Local Matters is teaching our children about the connections between healthy food, a healthy body and a healthy ecosystem.
