Cool photo and project in Silicon Valley

This is one of the posters that I’ve been working on for the Full Circle Farm groundbreaking celebration today. The image is mine, from a recent hike with the scoobies, and the text is a quote from Richard Louv.

In a final shameless plug, I’m really hoping to see a lot of flickrites out at our groundbreaking TODAY – it’s going to be a lot of fun, with free food, great music, and activities and games for kids of all ages (and did I mention free food? ;-)…and when else are you going to be able to see the Mayor of Sunnyvale plant a plum tree?

Anyone who hasn’t heard about this (and I’ve been yammering about it forever, I know!) we’re starting a non-profit, organic, educational farm on 11 acres of middle-school playing fields in the middle of Silicon Valley, and it’s gonna be awesome! You can find out more here.
