October 18, 2007News: 2008 Forum on Nature Education for Young Children in Nebraska
October 25, 2007Hi Everyone,
We will be holding a follow up meeting to our discussions at the Summit regarding Safe, Accessible Neighborhood Natural Areas for kids in Urban setings on Thursday November 8th at 1:30 pm. We will meet in the conference room at 200 Greenlawn Ave. Here is a map showing the location: http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result.php?q1=200+greenlawn+ave+43223
Also, I have been in contact with the City of Columbus Neighborhood Division and they are getting us a list of neighborhood groups that are already well formed with good communications. This will help us to promote our goals by reaching out to already existing neighborhoods groups.
I look forward to more discussions, sharing of resources and the excitement of getting kids outside and reconnecting our kids to nature. Please bring questions, ideas, resource contacts and whatever else you think will aid to making this happen.
I appreciate your participation and enthusiasm. I look forward to meeting with you on the 8th!
