Update on our Monthly Meetings

May 29, 2009 kidsandnature October Action Items

We began having monthly meetings (3rd Thursdays) in November ’08 at the request of our members.
Since that time, we have noticed that people seem to be more interested in communicating online rather than attending the meetings.

Please take this 4-question survey to let us know if we can somehow change the meeting schedule/time/location/format to work better for you.

Meanwhile, the Steering Committee will continue to meet monthly (and more frequently as we plan for our fall summit) and the membership is welcome to attend these meetings. Unless we receive a lot of feedback on the survey, though, we will plan these meetings for the convenience of the Steering Committee, and we will pull back on our (rather stressful!) efforts to move the meetings to different sites for the enjoyment of the membership. Thanks for understanding!

Here’s that survey link again. Thanks so much for your feedback!

    Hi folks,
I would love to attend the meetings, but after a 45-50 hour work week, weekend evenings are spent with my daughter. Other work-related collaborations I’m involved in meet during work hours. I know Jenny teaches, so that limits her – any chance we could meet after her school lets out but before the end of the work day – like at 3:30 or 4:00pm?

That being said, Stratford’s summer camp season is coming up, so despite wanting to come, even if the time was changed, I might still miss a few. But the time change would definately allow me to get much more involved than I have been able to do.

    Thanks for asking!
