Susan Weber brings 18 years of experience in the field of sustainable landscape design to her position as Director of Operations for Local Matters. Her passion is facilitating the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of collaborative outdoor community spaces, including experiential school sites and urban farm gardens. Her projects often include unique features, including indigenous plant communities and wildlife habitat, utilization of salvaged materials, artwork by local craftsmen, site-specific garden architecture, and a sense of ‘˜spirit of place’.
Susan is the mother of two sons, loves experimenting with vegan cooking, and is a partner in the Greener Grocer in the Historic North Market.
