RFP for health grants in Central Ohio
March 11, 2008Earth Hour – Turn off your lights 3/29 from 8-9pm
March 11, 2008This is from Betsy Townsend, of Cincinnati’s LNCI group:
Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods, is going to be at the Cincinnati Flower show on April 26 for a lecture and to sign copies of the new edition of Last Child in the Woods. If you have never been, the show is fabulous – it attracts about 55,000 visitors from all over the country. This year, there is a “Small Wonders” exihibit in Moonlght Gardens, highlighting outdoor play for kids. I have seen the plans, it it looks spectacular. It could be a fun “day trip” for the Columbus Leave No Child Inside folks!
We will get a flyer on this to you shortly, but in the meantime, I thought you might want to do announce this to your distribution list and via your website. You will find information at http://www.cincyflowershow.com/spring.asp. If you go to the green Flower Show button at the left of the screen, you will see a list of all the information, including lectures. This may sell out quickly (he was a last-minute addition when Algonquin contacted us looking for a place to do a booksigning), so if people want tickets, I recommend that they buy them ahead of time.
