3/11 author/illustrator Denise Fleming at Westerville Library

On Monday, March 11th author/illustrator Denise Fleming will be having a program and an evening talk. At 10:30am there is a children’s storytime program and then at 6:30pm there is a program for ages 12 and up about her papermaking. She makes her own paper, makes a huge “picture” out of it and then photographs it to make one page in her children’s books.

For those of you who have not heard of her, she wrote In the Small, Small Pond. She also wrote In the Tall, Tall Grass and Where Once There Was a Wood plus several others.  I saw her at a conference once and she was really funny, interesting and talented!
