LNCI to make appearance at Surgeon General Event

David Satcher, MD, PhD, former U.S. Surgeon General and Assistant Secretary for Health and current Director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute, will discuss the obesity epidemic and what each of us can do to make a different in the lives of our children. Satcher will focus on building community capacity for developing healthy children. He will provide insight into the issue of overweight children in our community, how other communities have come together to make a difference, the groups in central Ohio who are making a difference, and what you can offer to make our youth healthier.
