Earth Day Cupcakes!

One of our individual members, Kely Mertz, has this story to share. I am posting it so you can all look at the cupcakes and get a smile for the day!

Sharing my son’s Earth Day cupcakes he took to preschool yesterday 🙂

I had inquired about what they did for Earth Day, they said they really hadn’t done much in the past, but wanted to – so I bargained: if they’d read some nature books and talk about Earth Day, I’d make some “kids and nature” treats to inspire the kids! I didn’t have any marshmallows – what I usually use for frogs’ eyes – so these don’t look anything like frogs; I told Eli they could be any living critter he wanted them to be!
