March 26, 2015Ohio EPA is inviting comments on the annual agenda that sets funding priorities for the coming year for the Ohio Environmental Education Fund. We propose to continue the environmental education grant program, provide statewide coordination for Project WET, and support a number of initiatives introducing Ohio students to careers in environmental science and engineering. The Agenda is posted online at http://epa.ohio.gov/Portals/42/documents/SFY2016Agenda.pdf . Comments may be submitted in writing, emailed to oeef@epa.ohio.gov or offered in person at a public hearing on Thursday March 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Ohio EPA headquarters. The application deadline for Environmental Science and Engineering Scholarships for Ohio college and university students is also coming up April 15th. Applications are posted at ohiosci.org/scholarships.
