Environmental Literacy Plan needs your comments

The committee drafting the Ohio Environmental Literacy Plan (ELP) needs your assistance. The ELP is required to be eligible for grant funding under the No Child Left Inside Act, legislation that would expand environmental education programs in Ohio’s public schools. Nonprofit conservation organizations and local parks and recreation departments are eligible partners. The ELP is in the final stages of the approval process, and stakeholders have had an opportunity to take the initial survey. This is the second round. The Ohio ELP committee has incorporated the suggestions recommended in the initial survey, but we are offering a second and final chance to weigh in on this important document. The deadline to submit the completed survey is June 30, 2012.  Your participation in this process is very much appreciated.
