June 28, 2011Pearl Market presents Kids’ Day on Tuesday, July 26 from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., to help educate children about eating healthy. This no-cost program includes live music, hands-on activities and balloon artist Luke the Juggler. Last year COSI brought interactive science exhibits and the Columbus Police Mounted unit came to show children their horses. This year promises much of the same excitement.
Children will learn at play while they talk with farmers and merchants about healthy eating and what foods will help them grow big and strong. There will be plenty of hands-on arts and crafts, and children will dance to the live music played especially for them.
This no-cost family-friendly event welcomes daycare centers and summer camps to attend the festivities.
In the center of downtown Columbus, Pearl Market provides locally-grown produce and one-of-a-kind products every Tuesday and Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. through October in Pearl and Lynn alleys next to the Rhodes State Office Tower.
