August 17, 2010Register now to hear Dr. Ruth Wilson: Natural Beginnings: Connecting Young Children with Nature at Capital University, Harry Moore’s Campus Center on Friday, August 13, 2010 (8am-noon).
Dr. Ruth Wilson, a teacher educator for over 30 years, retired from Bowling Green State, currently devotes most of her time with nature and developing curriculum in environmental education for young children. She’s authored several books and articles, her most recent book: Nature and Young Children: Encouraging Creative Play and Learning in Natural Environments will be available for sale at the forum.
Intended audience: Early childhood teacher educators, professional development specialists, environmental educators and nature enthusiasts!
The Forum is presented by The Ohio State University, Capital University, Columbus State Community College, Child Development Council of Franklin County, Columbus City Schools, and Action for Children (AfC); funded through the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.
