Walk to bus stop soon a hike for Columbus high-schoolers

Attention, Columbus high-schoolers: You might want to get in shape over the summer. Next school year, some students might be hiking 4 miles or more roundtrip each day to and from their bus stops. The Columbus Board of Education approved a plan on Tuesday that would reduce the number of high-school bus stops from 1,466 to 205. That will leave 90 percent of students within 2miles of a stop. The rest might have to walk farther.
