White House Task Force on Childhood Obesity report

Recently released report by the White House Task Force on Childhood Obesity:

The report cites connecting with nature, outdoor play and outdoor education as critical components to addressing children’s health issues.

Chapter V: Increasing Physical Activity discusses the built environment’s role in making parks and open space safe and accessible. Good stuff that can bolster our argument for funding from NCLI and other programs.
