America’s Great Outdoors Conference on April 16 was inspirational and a call to action for outdoor education, recreation and play advocates in Ohio. The Conference was a strong start for the America’s Great Outdoors initiative and the national conversation we will have with you and other Americans. Your leadership and input is crucial as policies are developed to better support successful conservation across the country. U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar is scheduling listening sessions across the country to get a broad perspective on how to preserve our natural heritage and reconnect children and families with our public lands (federal, state and local).
