Here are the important points:
Spring Meeting: Leave No Child INSIDE: Creating a Vision for Ohio
The main goal of the spring conference is developing a statewide focus for Leave No Child Inside, which will be unveiled at the Fall Event. This will likely include an Ohio Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights.
Secondary goals of the spring event will be to
‘¢ network with each other,
‘¢ share best practices,
‘¢ and share resources, such as PowerPoint presentations, templates for brochures, research and stats, etc.

April 2010 in Central Ohio (by invitation)
Fall Statewide Summit: Leave No Child INSIDE: A Vision for Ohio
The main goal of the fall summit will be to unveil a statewide plan and focus for Leave No Child Inside Ohio, which will encompass major sectors such as health, education, parks/camps/lands, and families. This unveiling will include a statewide media campaign announcing the Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights.
Secondary goals of the fall event will be to
‘¢ Garner media attention
‘¢ Engage high-level leaders (including Governor Strickland)
‘¢ Network
‘¢ Celebrate accomplishments of grassroots groups across the state
Tentative date:
Sept. 24, 2010. We will entertain alternate dates if that is the make-or-break issue with the Governor’s office.
