Communications Team moving ahead

At the October meeting, the group strategized about several issues.
Sue Hagan volunteered to send postcards to each member organization asking them to link to us on their Websites. She completed this project. The Team also decided a traveling presentation or booth kit is necessary, as well as a PowerPoint presentation.

At the November meeting, we worked almost exclusively on the presentation/booth kit. Many great ideas came up, and we are working on assembling something we can create for little or no cost, that can be packed into a rolling bin, and can be relayed among volunteers easily.

The team also began working on a table/chart that would clarify the audiences we are trying to reach, and what messages and media would be most effective to reach them. The team will complete that task at the next meeting, as well as review progress and available resources for the PowerPoint.
