Progress at the Audubon Nature Center

As you may know, work continues on a park and nature center at Whittier Peninsula.
This is prime real estate in the heart of the center city.
Because of some prior uses, it was considered too costly to build a residential/retail development on the land. Instead, a joint effort between Audubon and Franklin County Metro Parks (VOTE TUESDAY 5/5 FOR THE LEVY) is producing a wonderful park and nature center.
