The above link is going to become increasingly important. As The Leave No Child Inside Central Ohio Collaborative seeks to promote and educate the community about nature play, we frequently refer people to resources where they can find places to go and things to do. (Even though we know the backyard is just as great!)
The National Wildlife Federation’s Green Hour, which is an amazing resource anyway, recently launched a searchable database, through Nature Find, where parents and teacher can search by ZIP code for nearby nature.
Our Franklin County Metro Parks and Ohio State Parks are listed on here, as well as The Columbus Zoo and few others.
We will be sending parents and teachers to this resource, so please make sure you are listed!
