Dear Outdoor Adventure Enthusiasts:
While old man winter may have an icy grip on Ohio, the Licking Park District is looking forward to warmer weather and to our newest event, Outdoor Adventures. We would like to introduce residents of Licking and surrounding counties to the myriad of fun outdoor activities available, but we cannot do it alone. We would like to invite you and your organization to attend our inaugural event, May 16 and 17, 2009. The event will take place at Infirmary Mound Park, three miles south of Granville on State Route 37. The facility is ideal for hikers, backpackers, skeet shooters, horse enthusiasts, water sport adventurists and more!
We are currently seeking persons or organizations interested in sponsorships, setting up booths, conducting presentations or workshops, equipment vendors and anyone else who loves sharing their knowledge of the great outdoors! This event will be a great place to recruit members, sell outdoor equipment and to introduce people to the vast adventures the great outdoors has to offer. Sorry, no power sports are permitted, i.e. off-road vehicles, quad-runners, min-bikes, etc.
We hope you and your organization will join us for this new event. Attached you will find the necessary materials to reserve your booth space by the April 1, 2009 deadline. There is a $25.00 booth space fee. If you should have any questions or need additional information please contact me at (740) 323-0520 via e-mail at: marybeth@lickingparkdistrict.com.
We look forward to your participation and help in getting residents outdoors and enjoying all it has to offer.
Sincerely,
Mary Beth Sills
