What: Annual Growing to Green Awards Ceremony and Harvest Dinner Celebration
When: September 17th, 6:00-9:00pmWhere: Franklin Park Conservatory Garden Pavilion
Why: To honor the best of the best community gardens from the 2008 season. Awards will be made to youth, gardeners and neighborhood improvement projects.
Enjoy a local seasonal dinner, live music and be a part of feeding the hungry through fresh produce donations to area food pantries.

Cash prizes are awarded in each category
Gardeners are encouraged to participate in the Growing to Green Awards by entering an award application.
Click here for a to download an application or stop by the Visitors Center at Franklin Park Conservatory during regular business hours: Tues – Sun 10 am – 5 pm; Open Weds. until 8 pm.
Applications will be accepted now through 5 pm Friday, August 22nd 2008. Applicants are encouraged to nominate themselves or another Columbus group or individual for their gardening efforts. Entries are judged by a panel of professionals and community members selected by Franklin Park Conservatory.
