This CDC workshop, School Health Guidelines to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity, will help schools develop, implement, and evaluate healthy eating and physical activity policies and practices for students. Participants will participate in a skill-building, engaging workshop and by the end of the day, they will be able to:
- ·Explain CDC’s School Health Guidelines tool
- ·Discuss how the SHG tool may be used to support school health policies, programs and practices at the local or state level
- ·Create an action plan to further local or state school health programs
